Actividades:

Las líneas de investigación del laboratorio de cristalografía aplicada comprenden diversas temáticas donde la caracterización primordialmente se basa en la interacción de la radiación X con la materia empleando tanto equipamiento de laboratorio como luz sincrotrón. Entre las técnicas cabe mencionar la difracción de polvo, dispersión de rayos X a bajos ángulos (SAXS), fotoemisión de electrones por rayos X (XPS) y técnicas de absorción (XANES, EXAFS) aplicado a sistemas condensados como cerámicos para celdas de combustible de temperatura intermedia y materia blanda (cristales líquidos, organogeles, hidrogeles, nanoemulsiones, micelas, proteínas, etc.). Además se trabaja en el desarrollo de herramienta de cálculo para interpretación de datos experimentales. El laboratorio cuenta con equipos modernos de difracción de rayos X de polvos y de dispersión de rayos X a bajos ángulos (SAXS) los cuales estarán abiertos a la comunidad.
